The Château de Pizay sits in a 80-hectare forest and vineyard in the Beaujolais region. Dating back from the 11th century, its 4-star rooms and suites overlook the French-style garden, outdoor, heated swimming pool, vineyard or castle. Marcel Giroud Stadium and training ground is 5 km from the property.
At Chateau de Pizay, guest accommodation is fitted with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi internet access and air-conditioning. Some rooms are near the swimming pool, while others are near the French garden. There is no bedroom in the castel.
The Chateau de Pizay is known for its award winning Spa that has an area of 1000m². It features multisensory treatments, hydrotherapy, sauna and hamman and a variety of massage and wellness treatments.
Also, the chateau has a gourmet restaurant that serves seasonal menus based on fresh local market produce. Meals are accompanied by fine wines produced on site or from its bi-centennial wine cellar and wine tasting sessions can be arranged. Just 45 minutes from Lyon, the chateau is 1h30 away from Paris by TGV.
The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 11:00.

Comfort Double Room. The 13 Comfort Rooms are located in an outbuilding at the front of the Château, near the gourmet restaurant and the French garden. There are no rooms in the Château (main building). The Comfort Rooms have retainedtheir old-world charm. They are furnished with antique furniture. Completely renovated in 2026. ;
Duplex Suite. The 48 Duplex Suites are located in the Parc Dependance at the rear of the Château, nestled in lush greenery near the spa, tennis court, and outdoor pool. There are no bedrooms in the château (main building). The bedroom is upstairs, while the living room and terrace are on the ground floor. If youthe rate that includes 2 hours of spa access, please contact the spa before your arrival to schedule your access.
